Kansas Football

Football: Sportsbook posts Big 12 championship odds; KU at 100/1

While Late Night in the Phog is 100 days away, college football keeps creeping closer and closer. And that means we’ll be seeing lots of predictions on Kansas football soon, for better or for worse.

Which also means people will be placing their bets on who will win the Big 12 conference.

Today, Bovada has released odds on the 2014 Big 12 title. The last time Kansas didn’t finish in last place in the Big 12 (10 team league) or the Big 12 North was 2008.  Kansas has won three Big 12 conference games since then.

So it’s no surprise that Kansas is tied for the worst odds in the Big 12 to win the title (tied with Iowa State).

Here they are:

Oklahoma: 4/7
Baylor: 11/4
Texas: 6/1
Oklahoma State: 9/1
Kansas State: 10/1
TCU: 15/1
Texas Tech: 33/1
West Virginia: 66/1
Iowa State: 100/1
Kansas: 100/1

What do you guys think? Are you surprised Kansas isn’t alone with the worst odds in the conference? Or do you think they’ll finish ahead of the Cyclones this year?

“Never tell me the odds…”
