Brandon Rush signs 2-year deal with Warriors

Brandon Rush is returning to the Warriors. Rush signed a two-year, $2.5 million deal with the Golden State Warriors that includes a player-option for the 2015-16 season.

Rush was traded from the Warriors to the Utah Jazz last year, playing in just 36 games and averaging 2.1 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. Rush only played in 2 games in the 2012-13 season after getting injured.

Rush impressed the Warriors in the 2011-12 season when he averaged 9.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Prior to playing with the Warriosrs, Rush spent his first three years in the league with the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers drafted Rush with the 13th overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.

Xavier Henry remains the last Jayhawk that is on the free agent market. Earlier on Wednesday, Henry tweeted “It’s about to get REAL.” Which we’ll assume means he’s close to signing a new contract. Our bets are on Oklahoma City or returning to the Lakers.
