Recruit Talk: Zimmerman, Maker and more

It appears Kansas will head into 2014-2015 with just 12 scholarship players after Ray Kasongo will not come to Kansas, as reported this weekend.

It is widely believed that Kasongo is looking for immediate playing time and Kansas didn’t offer that.

Additionally, a player like Christian Garrett will most likely get the remaining scholarship as he finishes his last year at Kansas.

Stephen Zimmerman sets up in-home with Kansas

JayhawkSlant.com is reporting that Bill Self will visit Stephen Zimmerman for an in-home visit, a 7-foot center from Vegas, on September 15th.

Zimmerman is one of Kansas’ big targets for the 2015 class and will be in attendance at Late Night in the Phog in October.

The 17-year-old is considering Kansas, UCLA, Kentucky, UNLV, North Carolina, Indiana, Louisville and Arizona. UNLV and Arizona are considered the favorites at this time.

Tyler Davis will most likely be at Late Night

JayhawkSlant.com is reporting that Tyler Davis, a 6-foot-9 forward in the class of 2015, will visit Kansas. The No. 35 recruit in the Class of 2015 is considering Kansas as well at other teams such as Baylor, SMU, Indiana and Arizona.

Jayhawk Slant thinks Davis will most likely visit Kansas for Late Night in the Phog.

Thon Maker’s World

If you have a subscription to 247 Sports, be sure to check out this article on the world of Thon Maker, one of the nation’s top recruits in the class of 2016. Kansas is the favorite for this center.

Cheick Diallo will visit Kansas in September

Cheick Diallo, the new No. 3 in 247 Sport’s rankings for the Class of 2015, will visit Kansas September 19-21. Additionally, he will visit Iowa State on Sept 26-28 and St. John’s on Oct. 16-18.

Kansas football plays Central Michigan the weekend Diallo visits so if you’re at Memorial Stadium, you’ll most likely see the 6-foot-9 forward in the crowd.

Kansas and Kentucky appear to be the favorite for Diallo. He’s also considering Pittsburgh.

I mean Recruit Talk: Zimmerman, Makmer and more – Rock Chalk Blog is kinda vanilla.

You could look at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they write news titles to get viewers to open the links.
You might add a video or a related picture or two to get readers
interested about what you’ve got to say. Juust my opinion, it might bring your posts a little
    bit more interesting.
