Jamari Traylor arrested early Sunday morning

Jamari Traylor was arrested at 2:17 am this morning for interfering with the duties of an officer, according to Douglas County sherif’s office records. According to the records, Traylor was arrested at 1200 Oread Avenue, the location of the popular night club, The Cave.

“We were made aware of the situation concerning Jamari late last night,” said Bill Self in a statement to the media. “We have been gathering information all morning and will continue to do that. This will certainly be addressed and handled as we receive complete information.”

The junior forward was released from jail at 3:18 am on $100 bail.  Traylor started the first two games of the season for the Jayhawks and is averaging 3.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Traylor is tied for the most blocked shots on the team with nine.

Additionally, Kansas junior wide receiver Rodriguez Coleman was arrested at 1:53 am with connection to battery. Coleman was released from jail at 4:18 am on $100 bail.
