ITP: KU wins ugly, Sunflower Showdown, & Daniel’s Bet

“If Iowa State loses to Texas Tech, I will do jumping jacks in my boxers in Ryan’s front yard.” – Daniel Cunningham, January 23rd, 2015

Just three days after putting forth their best complete effort of the season, Kansas fell back to earth with a miserable offensive display. Fortunately for them, TCU was just a tiny bit more miserable, and Kansas survived to advance to 6-1 in Big 12 play.

Let’s go live to Daniel, who’s ready to go with the consequence for his bet.

Why isn’t Cliff Alexander playing more minutes? Landen Lucas, Jamari Traylor, and Perry Ellis all logged more time than the heralded freshman did on Wednesday. Missouri v. Kentucky was…not as ugly as we were expecting, but it still went down as the 20th victory of the year for the Wildcats. What else happened around the Big 12 and the Top 25 this week?securedownload

Will Kansas State do much to slow down the Jayhawks in Saturday’s Sunflower Showdown? Without Nino Williams, it doesn’t look promising for the Wildcats, but don’t count them out just yet.
