ITP: KU Decisions, Big 12 Mayhem, and NCAA Regionals

Kansas’ season may be over, but there’s still plenty of hoopla around Lawrence about which Jayhawks will declare for the NBA Draft. Let’s take a break from talking about Kentucky and go through which KU players we expect to stay, and who we expect to go.

The Final Four is set. Kentucky is in it. So is Duke.

…Can we just cancel it this year?

Ryan Landreth and Joshua Brisco recap the last week of news from around Kansas, including updates on the impending NBA decisions of Kelly Oubre, Cliff Alexander, Perry Ellis, and Wayne Selden. KU is bound to be a top 10 team next season, but which Jayhawks should we expect to fly out of Lawrence after just one season?

The Big 12 may have disappointed in the NCAA tournament, but it’s been as exciting as ever in the last few days. All Big 12 players are transferring, coaches with huge resumes are leaving, and NBA decisions are coming. Kansas State is a disaster. Texas doesn’t have a coach. West Virginia just went through the biggest NCAA blowout this late in the tournament in 40 years. And Kentucky is going to likely win more games in this year’s tourney than the entire Big 12.

How intrigued are you to watch the Final Four this year? Duke, Kentucky, Wisconsin and Michigan State are certainly great teams, but is it really fun if you loathe the two most likely victors? Friday will be our Final Four prediction show, but we break down how the last teams standing arrived in Indianapolis.
