ITP Logo blueLate Night in the Phog 2016 was one of the most memorable events in recent memory, and there are tons of takeaways from a scrimmage filled with offensive plays. The dancing was bad, Carlton Bragg was good, and Bill Self has his most talented team in several years ready to go for 2016-17.

The Jayhawks’ annual kick-off event was so good that a 2019 recruit committed to KU the next day. We talk about the commitment of Markese Jacobs, who won’t play in Lawrence for three more years, but figures to step right in to be the next productive guard under Self.

We then go over Kansas basketball news, which covers everything from former Jayhawks signing with new NBA teams to future KU games getting start times shuffled. In all, it’s a celebration show to review how Kansas basketball is finally back!
