In a game where they were supposed to roll, the Jayhawks were stunned by the Washington Huskies in Kansas City for their first loss of the year. It was as unexpected of a loss as we’ve seen in our five-year run on this podcast, and we’re here to break down what went wrong and why fans should be nervous about the future. Kansas is still one of the best teams in the country, but Wednesday night exposed the flaws that inhabit Bill Self’s squad.

Everybody else in the Big 12 had a great week, but that doesn’t particularly make us feel any better. We recap other games and preview KU’s next contest, which takes place on Sunday against a top-20 Arizona State team. It won’t be easy, but we all think Kansas gets back on track against a legitimate threat to drop them to consecutive losses.
