For the 64th time in the last 71 meetings, Kansas beat Kansas State in a basketball game. The Jayhawks continued their dominance of the Sunflower Showdown series by winning another road game in Manhattan. At 7-2, KU sits alone in first place at the halfway mark in Big 12 play. It was an impressive defensive display, so we’re ready to talk all about the takeways to be made from this game.

The league is bonkers, so we recap everything going on before going on to the second half of conference play: a home tilt against Oklahoma State on Saturday. We’ve got your keys to victory, which would keep the Jayhawks in first place. It’s the soft spot in the Kansas schedule, so they have the opportunity to gain some room from their competition.
