The Jayhawks, now 8-3 in Big 12 play, continue to sit in first place after defeating TCU in a close game at home. It wasn’t pretty, but it ultimately was the largest margin of victory for Kansas in a conference game at Allen Fieldhouse all season. There was a lot to like in the game, particularly with hustle, effort, and intensity, and we’re here to break down all of the changes and discuss how effective they were in Tuesday’s contest.

Two days later, Kansas’ recruiting class got another jolt with the commitment of wing Ochai Agbaji, an up-and-coming local prospect that was beginning to get some traction from major schools. There’s plenty to talk about with next year’s team as well, including who we think could be leaving Lawrence early, and who could return to anchor the team in 2019.

Up next for Kansas: a road test at Baylor, who hasn’t had a strong season but will definitely play spoiler down the stretch for a handful of league contenders. What KU needs to do to avoid falling into the trap is at your service.
