Kansas put together a great season in 2017-18, but it ultimately came up two wins shy of the final goal after the Jayhawks were waxed by Villanova on Saturday night. The 16-point loss is the worst tournament defeat in Bill Self’s tenure, but exactly how much blame to place on the Hall of Fame coach is a hot topic. We try to make sense of it.

We also spend a lot of time talking about the future of the Jayhawks, as they have been pegged as a potential No. 1 team to open up the 2018-19 season. We go through recruiting, transfers, NBA departures, and anything else that could make up a potentially brilliant season for Kansas next year.
