Jahlil Okafor and Tyus Jones pick Duke
Duke grabbed a top 10 recruit package deal on Friday afternoon as Jahlil Okafor (No. 6 on 247Sports and top ranked center) and Tyus Jones (No. 5 on 247Sports and No. 2 ranked point guard) announced their decision on ESPNU to join Duke University.
Okafor and Jones were widely regarded as a package deal through most of their recruitment and both narrowed down their school choices to Duke and Kansas before picking the Blue Devils
Okafor, a Chicago native, watched Duke and Kansas matchup on Tuesday in the Champions Classic at the United Center. Kansas won the first contest of the week, 94-83. Duke grabbed the second win of the week.
