Iowa State basketball gets “Big 12 Champions” rings
The 2013-14 Iowa State men’s basketball team received their “Big 12 Championship” rings on Sunday, according to their Twitter account.
While one of their tweets calls the rings “Big 12 Championship” rings, the other calls it a Big 12 Tournament Championship rings:

So they are slightly aware that they didn’t really win the Big 12.
But the ring does say “Big 12 Champions” on it. The Kansas Jayhawks are Big 12 Champions. The Iowa State Cylones are Big 12 Tournament Champions.
Iowa State finished third in the Big 12 standings, three games behind Kansas.
While I suppose Kansas fans can forgive Iowa State because it’s hard to find “Tournament” into that ring, I think we can all agree that this tweet is 100 percent false:

Sorry… but the best coaching staff in the country resides in Lawrence, Kansas.
