Kansas picked last in Big 12 media preseason poll
Kansas was picked to finish last in the 2014 Big 12 Football Preseason Poll, voted on by media representatives who cover the league.
This marks the fourth straight season Kansas has been picked last in the Big 12. However, this is the most points Kansas has picked up in the media poll since the 2010 poll.
Kansas opens its season on September 6th vs. Southeast Missouri State in Lawrence at 6 p.m. The Jayhawks will play their first Big 12 opponent on September 27th vs. Texas, which is the annual Homecoming game. The Longhorns are picked to finish fourth in the Big 12.
The following week, Kansas will travel to Morgantown to play West Virginia. The Mountaineers were picked to finish eighth in the league standings.
