Kansas offers Mitchell Ballock
Mitchell Ballock, a sophomore guard from Eudora High, was offered a scholarship by the University of Kansas on Monday.
“I kind of knew it was coming, but I was surprised when it (KU offer) happened,” Ballock told JayhawkSlant.com, who has already picked up offers from Kansas, Creighton and Iowa State.
Ballock, a 6-foot-4 left, led Eudora High to the Class 4A-II state championship in March, averaging 20 points per game last season. He attended Stephen Curry’s camp this summer, which was an invite-only event
Ballock drew a lot of praise at the camp, where he was recognized with the “best shooter” award after winning the three-point shooting contest (shooting from NBA range, by the way).
“We did NBA draft drills. I guess he liked what he saw.” Mitchell Ballock on Fran Fraschilla’s tweet at Curry Camp pic.twitter.com/8gQQhx6dCh

Obviously Ballock will receive plenty of other offers before he makes his final decision but it appears Kansas is the front runner at this point because of he’s a Kansas prospect.
Look who’s hanging out with Golden State’s Steph Curry at his camp. That’s KU recruit and Eudora’s Mitchell Ballock. pic.twitter.com/5x1yXhrjJy
