ITP: Iowa State Loss and New Sound Effects
A new sound effects machine on Inside the Paint. Making matters even better, Daniel can’t hear the drops as they’re being played. What could go wrong?
Kansas lost to Iowa State over the weekend, but the concern seems to be on Bill Self’s usage of Cliff Alexander. Daniel Cunningham, who usually breaks out in a sweat when talking about the Kansas coach, is the one who’s the most angry about the whole situation. We go through the various angles that KU can take to resolve this problem and get back to dominance in the Big 12.
Also, we award the “Scott Drew Boob of the Week Award” to none other than the coach of the 10-time defending champions of the Big 12, and Bill Selfish is there to accept the trophy and spread insight into what his plans are as the new producer of the show.

The Big 12 is nuts – Kansas State, yes, THAT Kansas State, is in first place. How long will that last? We look through the slate of games this week, including Kansas’ Big Monday contest against the Sooners of Oklahoma. Kelly Oubre vs. Buddy Hield is the top matchup, but what else should we be on the lookout for? What has John Calipari been up to on Twitter? Andrew Wiggins just continued to get better, but what about the rest of the Jayhawk-alumni in the NBA? All of that and more in this fantastic and sound-effect-filled episode of Inside the Paint.
