No. 2 Kansas routs Oklahoma State, 94-67
In a rematch against the Oklahoma State team that scored a 19-point upset of the Jayhawks last month, Kansas made sure there wouldn’t be another shocker.
Early in the game, Kansas started out slow and Oklahoma State couldn’t miss. The Cowboys started out on an 8-0 run, hitting two threes and a deep two. Kansas came back to take an 11-10 lead, but immediately surrendered it. The Jayhawks would trail until a Wayne Selden three gave them a 29-28 lead, and the Jayhawks wouldn’t look back. Going on a 19-6 run to end the half, Kansas took a 13-point lead into halftime.
Kansas jumped out to a 57-39 lead before Oklahoma State went on a 10-0 run to make it a game. With 11:13 left, OSU had cut the deficit to 62-56. However, the Jayhawks soon found their rhythm and opened up a 19-point lead over the next six minutes.
After a shaky start in each half, the game between the #2 team in the country and a 12-13 team went about how you would expect with Kansas cruising to a 94-67 win.
Landen Lucas had another big game, scoring a career-high 14 points on 5/8 shooting while adding 10 rebounds.
Wayne Selden finally got back on track, scoring 18 while shooting 4/7 from three.
This game was a very balanced attack from the Jayhawks, with every starter (and Brannen Greene) scoring double digits.
Kansas moves into sole possession of first in the Big 12 with this win.
The Jayhawks shot the ball well in every aspect, going 50% from the field (32-64), 52% from three (11-21) and 76% from the free throw line (19-25).
Up next for the Jayhawks: Kansas travels to Bramlage Coliseum for the Sunflower Showdown. The Wildcats have lost six of their last 10 games and are eighth in the Big 12.

- Brannen Greene: 11 points (4/5 FG) and 5 rebounds while going a perfect 3-3 from behind the arc.
- Devonte Graham: 10 points (4/7 FG), three rebounds and one steal.
- Jamari Traylor: two points (1/2 FG), one rebound and one block. Unfortunately, his most memorable play of the game was getting put on a poster.
- Carlton Bragg: six points (1/2 FG) and two assists in seven minutes.
- Cheick Diallo: five rebounds and three blocks in seven minutes.
- Hunter Mickelson: 2 points (1/2 FG) in his first appearance since the TCU game.
- Svi Mykhailiuk: 2 points (1/1 FG) in three minutes.
