The Big 12/SEC Challenge went down on Saturday, and for the first time, the SEC took the battle. The Jayhawks did their part, defeating Texas A&M at Allen Fieldhouse to earn its first “easy” victory in more than a calendar month. We’re here with your takeaways from the event as a whole, including if the Big 12 was exposed a bit with its underwhelming performance over the weekend.
At 6-2 in league play, the Jayhawks cling to a one-game lead in the Big 12 heading into Monday’s Sunflower Showdown rematch with Kansas State. They’ll need to slay the hottest team in the Big 12, but if they can do it, Kansas will be in a fabulous position to win yet another conference title.
