RCB Week 4 Power Rankings
Another week of hoops, another power rankings. Here is Landen and I’s top 15 list for Week 4.
- Gonzaga
- Baylor
- Iowa
- Kansas
- Michigan State
I doubt we’ll see much movement in these top 5 from here on out. They are all solid. Interestingly, we feel like Kansas is the most likely to drop of these 5, simply because they have the most obvious hole on their team (at the center position). - West Virginia
West Virginia has really impressed us so far. They may fall down once conference play starts, but they are clicking right now. They drummed Richmond (another team on this week’s list) by 16 and played nearly perfectly in the first half of that game. - Houston
- Villanova
- Illinois
Illinois has now lost to Baylor and unranked Missouri. Something to keep an eye on. - Creighton
- Wisconsin
- Texas
Texas didn’t get to face Baylor due to COVID issues within the Baylor program. If they had lost that game, I doubt they would be in our top 15. - Texas Tech
- Tennessee
- Richmond
This was the hardest 15 spot to fill yet. A lot of teams could make a case to be here, but in the end we settled on Richmond for this week.
Mid-Major to Watch: San Diego State
San Diego State is 5-0 and has wins over (at the time) #22 UCLA and at #23 Arizona State. They don’t have too many tough games left, either. Definitely a team to watch.
And that’s our list for this week!
