Live Kansas games to recap? Meaningful regular season games to preview? Bruce Weber proclaiming he’ll be Big 12 Coach of the Year? It’s go time for college basketball, and we’re ready for Inside the Paint!

Two exhibition games are in the books for the Jayhawks, and the whole crew, including the recently engaged Daniel Cunningham, are in studio to talk about takeaways. What did we see against Washburn and Emporia State? With so many lineup changes going around, it’s anybody’s guess for who’s going to play in the regular season, and there’s hardly any time to prepare.

In Kansas and Big 12 news, we go through Joel Embiid stories, Big 12 Media Day headlines, and talk about expectations for the season. Speaking of Embiid, he’s completely taken the NBA by storm, which we assess in “Jayhawks in the NBA.” We also go through the recent high school commits that have not picked Kansas, discussing what this means for a lacking 2017 class to this point.

We conclude the show by previewing a meaningful matchup: it’s Indiana and Kansas on Friday night in Hawaii! The quick-paced Hoosiers can score with the best of teams, so it’ll be key for the Jayhawks to keep up on the offensive end by attacking the paint. We make predictions and go through some of the other matchups for the weekend.
