Help is officially on its way to Lawrence for the Jayhawks, as Silvio De Sousa is coming to join the Jayhawks.

Kansas smashed Omaha on Monday night, but the biggest piece of news was revealed in the postgame, when Bill Self hinted about how reinforcements might be on their way to Lawrence. On Tuesday, it was announced that Silvio De Sousa will likely be joining the Jayhawks in time for Big 12 play, which dramatically boosts KU’s frontcourt and lifts the ceiling on the team through the roof.

We break down what all of this news means for everyone involved, debate which Big 12 contender is KU’s biggest threat to a 14th straight conference crown, and preview the final nonconference game of the calendar year, as the Jayhawks head west to take on Stanford in California.
