ITP: KU beats Texas and West Virginia to reach title game

They caught some scheduling breaks, but the Jayhawks made their way to the Big 12 championship with two wins in Kansas City.

Texas and West Virginia were Kansas’ 24th and 25th victims of the 2018-19 season, as the Jayhawks moved past each to advance to the title game on Saturday night. Their opponent will be Iowa State, who split the two regular season meetings with Kansas this year.

We break down keys to Saturday night’s championship game, what KU needs to do to win their second straight Big 12 tournament, and what the bracket outlook for all teams Big 12 and around the country looks like. It’s the best time of year for basketball, and the Jayhawks figure to once again be in the thick of things.
