Jayhawks in the NFL
This post will highlight the Jayhawks in the NFL so far this season.
James Holt landed on the injured reserve yesterday, according to RotoTimes.com. He was playing inside and outside linebacker for the Chargers this season, and was credited with two tackles on the season. This is the second year in a row that Holt has been placed on the IR.
Moran Norris is the current longest tenure Jayhawk in the NFL as he is in his 10th year in the NFL. In San Fran’s first loss of the season, Norris had one carry, for two yards, and a reception for two yards. In their second game against New Orleans, he had a five-yard reception. As a fullback, he has helped Frank Gore with blocking. Gore is the fifth best running back, points wise, in fantasy football this year (although most of his points have come from receptions).
Kerry Meier was injured in preseason and is on the IR.
Darrell Stuckey has not accumulated any stats this season. I’m not even sure he’s played in a game yet. The Chargers defense has five interceptions on the season (tied for third in the league behind Tampa Bay and Atlanta with 6 interceptions), and the 6th best pass defense in the NFL .
Aqib Talib is having a fantastic season for Tampa Bay. Talib has two interceptions on the season after missing the first game of the season while serving a suspension. He also has four tackles. Like I wrote before, Tampa Bay has the most interceptions in the NFL this season and the Bucs are 10th in pass defense.
Derek Fine is on the Houston Texans practice squad after he was released by the Buffalo Bills in February and signed and waived by the St. Louis Rams in March.
