Mario Chalmers looks for a three-peat

On Friday night in Kansas City, the Miami HEAT and Charlotte Bobcats faced off in a pre-season contest at the Sprint Center. The Miami HEAT are coming off their second straight NBA Championship.

Former Kansas great, Mario Chalmers, spent the offseason getting in the best shape of his life. By cutting out sweets and soda and drinking more water, Chalmers is ready to lead the HEAT to another championship. Chalmers is the fourth Jayhawk to win multiple NBA titles. Clyde Lovellette is the only Jayhawk to win more than two, winning titles for the Minneapolis Lakers in 1954 and the Boston Celtics in 1963 and 1964.
