NBA Summer League: Marcus Morris buzzer beater and Withey Block Party
Yesterday was pretty good for former Jayhawks in the NBA Summer League.
Marcus and Markieff Morris led the Phoenix Suns from down 24 to a two-point win. Marcus ended up with 18 points while Markieff had 22 points and six boards. Despite ‘Kieff having more points, Marcus had the biggest play of the game: a game-winning buzzer beater. Read more about the Morrii’s impact on the Sun.
Meanwhile… Jeff Withey did Jeff Withey things for the Pelicans yesterday. Welcome to the Withey Block Party, NBA edition. Withey led the team with three blocks, scored five points and grabbed three rebounds in 15 minutes off the bench.
