World Games Champions! The Jayhawks swept through bracket play to bring the gold medal back to the United States.

Lithuania, Russia, and Germany were the last of KU’s eight victims in World Games play, as the Jayhawks cruised to the finals before winning a thrilling double-overtime game to win the gold. Frank Mason, Wayne Selden, and Perry Ellis are among the biggest stories from the two-week stint in Korea, but who are some of the names that we’re talking about in light of the first place finish? What should KU’s big man rotation look like in November? How will the scoring and pace of play compare to the college rules?

Kelly Oubre and Cliff Alexander have been making headlines in the summer league, and a big-name Jayhawk received disappointing injury news this week. We break down all of that and more on the 70th episode of Inside the Paint.
