Mitch Lightfoot Commits to Kansas Basketball

Kansas basketball receives its first commitment of the 2016 class as 6’7, 200-pound Mitch Lightfoot (Ariz.) announced that he will be a Jayhawk.

Rivals.com has Lightfoot ranked at No. 117, and he will likely be the first of several big men to join the 2016 class. As Perry Ellis, Jamari Traylor and Hunter Mickelson are set to graduate after this season and Cheick Diallo’s future beyond 2015 is uncertain, Bill Self and the Jayhawks are starting to fill the incoming big man void early in the recruiting process. Catch up on the news with a Twitter roundup.
