The Jayhawks’ brilliant season came to a sudden close on Saturday night with a loss to No. 2-seed Villanova in the Elite Eight. A bid for Kansas’ first Final Four in four years came up just short, but there are many different people to blame and reasons to cite for the Jayhawks’ demise. We break down every aspect of the loss, from Perry Ellis’ struggles to KU’s bench to Bill Self’s coaching to referees, in an extended segment devoted entirely to the regional final.
