Kansas defeated Stanford easily, so we’re ready to recap the game and talk about their nonconference performance as a whole. What grade are we giving the Jayhawks for the first half of their season? What’s the latest with Silvio De Sousa and Billy Preston? Who has been the biggest surprise, and who has been the biggest disappointment?

We then turn the page to Big 12 play, where we’re ready to break down what’s bound to be a thrilling race for the league crown. We re-pick the league, the awards, and the predictions that go behind it. It’s then time to preview KU’s first league game, a season-opening Friday night contest in Texas against the Longhorns.
